Join Cadre as a Contributor

The Expert Coaches, clinicians, and practitioners with formal training or professional credentials in their area of focus. They bring frameworks, tools, and evidence-informed approaches translated into language that meets people where they are.

The Peer People whose path through something hard, grief, addiction, trauma, transition, loss. They teach and guide from what it actually felt like, and what actually helped, sharing their own stories to build trust and peer support.

What We Require

Being a Cadre Contributor is a commitment - to the community, to the brand, and to yourself. These are the non-negotiables.

1. Comfort on Camera

Live video is your primary format. You don't need to be polished but you need to be present. Members are watching because they trust you, and that trust is built through the screen. We look for contributors who can be themselves on camera: natural, direct, and genuinely engaged.

  • Comfortable appearing live without heavy production support

  • Able to hold space for a community in real time

  • Willing to let imperfection be part of the authenticity

2. A Teacher and a Guide

Cadre Contributors don't just share stories, they help people move through something. Whether the format is teaching, coaching, or conversation, there should always be a thread your community can hold onto: a reframe, a framework, a next step, a moment of recognition that shifts something, and always with intention.

  • Ability to translate lived experience or expertise into accessible, actionable insight

  • Comfort with the Cadre Way framework: ACT-informed, trauma-aware, values-driven

  • A teaching style that empowers rather than prescribes

3. Availability and Consistency

Dependability is a Cadre value and for Cadre Contributors it's also the product. Your community builds a habit around you. Showing up consistently is how that habit forms, and how trust deepens over time.

  • Available for a weekly live session commitment

  • Able to maintain Quick Hit presence as part of regular engagement

  • Proactive communication if schedules change your community deserves notice

4. Authentic with Boundaries

We don't want contributors to show up as they are with the specific perspective, voice, and experience that no one else has.

At the same time, Cadre Contributors operate within The Cadre Way framework: trauma-informed, scope-aware, and referral-ready.

  • Willingness to share lived experience without oversharing what's unprocessed

  • Understanding of scope of practice and knowing when to teach, when to refer, and when to simply bear witness

  • Adherence to Cadre content and community guidelines

  • Commitment to the C.A.D.R.E. values in every interaction

The C.A.D.R.E. Values — What We Ask of Every Cadre Contributor

Courageous We Live in the Arena You show up for the hard conversations, the uncomfortable truths, and the topics the mental health space often avoids. You don't need to have it all figured out — but you need to be willing to go there.

Ambitious We Get It Done You bring intention to your programming. Your sessions have structure, your community has direction, and your content moves people somewhere. Excellence is the standard — not perfection.

Dependable We Show Up Your community needs to count on you. Consistent presence, consistent energy, consistent follow-through. This is how trust is built — and why it lasts.

RelatableWe Meet People Where They Are You speak the language of your community — not above it, not around it. Your lived experience isn't a footnote; it's what makes you credible. Use it.

Empathetic We Are People Over Everything Every person in your community is a person first — not a subscriber, not a metric. How you hold space for them, even through a screen, is the core of what you do.

The Path to Becoming a Contributor

We designed this process to protect the contributor as much as the community. Each stage is a genuine checkpoint — not a hurdle, but an honest conversation about fit.

Step 01 — Video Submission Applicants submit a short video through the Cadre website — unscripted, unproduced. We want to see who you are on camera, how you talk about your area of focus, and what your community can expect from you. This isn't an audition. It's an introduction.

Step 02 — Director of Programming Meeting If there's alignment from the video, you'll meet with our Director of Programming. This is a genuine conversation — about your experience, your community, your show concept, and whether the fit is right for both sides. We're not just evaluating you; we want you to evaluate us.

Step 03 — Trial Month You produce one month of content as a Cadre contributor — Signature Sessions, Quick Hits, community engagement. This is a real month, not a simulation. You'll have support, feedback, and full access to the Cadre ecosystem. At the end, we review together: what's working, what needs refining, and what comes next.

Step 04 — Path Forward Based on the trial, there are three paths: add 1:1 coaching to your offering, formalize your role in the contributor community, or stay exactly where you are and keep building. Every path is valid. The goal is the right fit — for you and for the community you're serving.

A Final Note We are not building a roster of content creators. We are building a community of trusted voices, people whose presence on the Cadre platform signals to every member: someone who understands what you're going through is here, and they're not going anywhere.

Video Submission

Instead of a traditional cover letter, we want to see the real you. Record a short 1-minute video telling us why you want to join Cadre and what makes you the right fit for this role.

Tips for a great video

  • Keep it under 60 seconds — be concise and impactful

  • Share what excites you about Cadre and this opportunity

  • Highlight a skill, project, or experience you're proud of

  • Be yourself — authenticity matters more than production quality

  • Good lighting and clear audio help, but don't overthink it
